Custom Tuxedos in RI

Refined Tailoring
That Commands the Room

Men's Bespoke & Custom Tailored Tuxedos

A tuxedo is the most photographed thing you will ever wear. When it is cut to your body and finished to your taste, you stop thinking about the clothes and start owning the room.

Experience The Difference a Custom Suit Makes

Rented tuxedos are built to fit everyone, which means they fit no one. Even most “custom” formalwear skips the details that actually matter.

At Roaring Fashions, we take over 20 measurements and detailed notes on posture, shoulder alignment, chest shape, and stance. Your tuxedo is then shaped to your physique, so the formality reads as sharp instead of stiff.

Custom Suits We Offer in Rhode Island

Sit down with Cheryl to design a Made to Measure, Handmade, or Bespoke tuxedo.

Made to Measure

This route begins with a foundation pattern that we reshape using more than 20 measurements covering your posture, slope, and proportions. From there, the fabric, lapel, buttons, and final flourishes are all yours to direct.

Starting At $1,497

Handmade Tuxedos

Here, hand work and machine work share the bench. The pieces that give a formal jacket its character, the lapel, collar, and inner canvas, get noticeably more stitching by hand. You end up with a jacket that keeps its line and lasts.

Starting At $1,697

Bespoke Tuxedos

Nothing here is pulled off a shelf. A pattern is drafted from a blank page to your measurements, refined over several fittings. This is the pinnacle of what we do, the most personal and the most time-intensive piece in the studio.

Starting At $1,997

How We Can Personalize Your Custom Tux

Every decision, from the shape of the lapel to the buttons and what hides on the inside, lands with you. A tailored tuxedo shaped to your call is what separates the man people glance past from the one they remember.

Creating Your Custom Tux

Step 1: Discovery Call

New to Roaring Fashions? Begin with a quick Discovery Call. It gives Cheryl a chance to hear what you are after, answer whatever is on your mind, and figure out together whether we are the right shop for the job. If it clicks, she sets up your first visit to the studio.

Step 2: Measurements

When you come in, we record over 20 measurements and photograph your posture from every side. Shoulder slope, the way you stand, how you move when you forget anyone is watching, it all informs the balance and structure of the jacket.

Step 3: Style & Fit

From there, Cheryl digs into how dressed-up you want to read and how you prefer a jacket to sit on you. If there is a specific night driving this, she makes sure the tuxedo lands right for that room.

Step 4: Fabric & Color Selection

You will choose among cloths from mills celebrated for their wool, mohair blends, velvet, and the deep blacks and midnight blues that define formalwear. Cheryl steers you through weight, sheen, and hand so the tuxedo reads correctly in any light it meets.

Step 5: Personalization & Details

This is the fun part, the stage where the tuxedo stops being generic. Cheryl walks you through lapel shape, satin or grosgrain facing, the buttons, the pockets, the lining, and every small choice that draws the line between a custom piece and a rental.

Step 6: Try-On & Final Fitting

Expect your made to measure tuxedo in roughly four to six weeks. Once it lands, we bring you back for fine adjustments, then a last fitting so everything sits exactly where it should well before the day arrives.

Custom Tux FAQs

A two piece made to measure tuxedo opens at $1,497. For that, you get fit and detail that nothing on a rental rack or a department store hanger can touch.

Pricing increases based on three main factors:

  1. The amount of hand work that goes into the jacket and pants

  2. The fabric quality and mill you choose

  3. The style details and design preferences you select

More hand stitching and structure push a handmade tuxedo higher. Bespoke sits at the top, since the whole garment is constructed by hand off a pattern drafted for you alone.

Tell us your goals, your taste, and your budget, and we will map the options that fit.

Made to Measure: We take a proven pattern, reshape it to your measurements, and let you customize the cloth and details. Sharp, personal, and quicker to deliver.

Handmade: Old-world hand work meets a little machine support. The lapel, collar, and canvas get more stitching by hand, which buys the jacket better shape, comfort, and life.

Bespoke: Drafted from nothing, fitted to you across several sessions. Every stitch and every choice answers to your preferences and no one else’s.

Which is right for you: Most men land on made to measure or handmade, where fit, options, and value meet. Reach for bespoke when you want the highest craft and a pattern drawn from scratch, a fully tailored build.

Plan on four to six weeks once the order goes in, give or take depending on your cloth and the time of year. Cheryl gives you a firm estimate at your appointment. Building for a wedding or a marquee event? Start two to three months out so nothing feels rushed.

It all opens with a short call. Cheryl uses it to field your questions and make sure we are the right fit before anything else happens. Book your discovery call online or just pick up the phone. Once you have talked, she schedules your in-studio session here in East Greenwich, RI.
